I reached Hyderabad 4 years back with butterflies in my tummy. I was sure, this is what I wanted to do. I was never so sure about anything in my past.

4 years to the day, walking in to the beautiful Hyderabad office, full of colorful people, this was no ordinary job, it was soon going to become a way of being.

My first day - 28th July. I walk in and meet two people who had their first day as well. Mir Rahmat Quadri and Sachin Jain.

Wearing his black leather jacket. Seemed like he ruled Hyderabad on his own. He went on to be my caretaker, my adviser, my biryani buddy. I call him my elder brother

Sachin Jain.

He used to be on his cellphone throughout training. I thought he chalked his priorities well. But whenever the trainer asked him a question, he’d know. Probably the sharpest memory of anyone I’ve ever known. This boys was always going to be special. I call him my younger brother

And through the next 4 years, I realized everyone at Google is special, at something. And that is the reason they are here. If you spend enough time with them, you’d know. And I am damn lucky to be a part of this fantastic movement.
